Even with all the injuries we have been carrying 8 defensemen for most of the season. Two have been sitting as healthy scratches almost every game.

I didn’t say anything about making panic decisions. I’m merely stating that most teams don’t carry an 8th defenseman at all times. Unless that’s new this year and I missed the memo.
