...and? Is this an assumption on your part? You don't state something like fact when you have no clue what happened because you weren't there.

LOL! Seriously? Having a conversation about an assumption? LOL!
Well your past few weather predictions sucked, so what's the excuse? This is an message board it's all assumptions and opinions except for what I say... That's 100 percent fact lol
Why? Because I called you out, just like you would me.With Jakey playing the usual ass part.
Technically however it's called a speculation.
No, this is a fact....and? Is this an assumption on your part?
Lol nobody can predict the weather anymoreWell your past few weather predictions sucked, so what's the excuse?
Nobody ever could predict the weather, thus your 100% is quickly going to hell in a hand basket!Lol nobody can predict the weather anymorepick something easier like the loto numbers
So you were there? Did you talk to BA personally? Or are you assuming that theLegion had no contact? Why? Because I called you out, just like you would me.
No, this is a fact.
I don't know if he was in the room, that's why I asked him if he was.So you were there? Did you talk to BA personally? Or are you assuming that theLegion had no contact?
Jakey likes to argue for the sake of arguing.....So you were there? Did you talk to BA personally? Or are you assuming that theLegion had no contact?
I don't think Toronto wanted that D Man, I think that was a dump by SJ. The Leafs are trying to move him again.Jakey likes to argue for the sake of arguing.....

Looking at the fact that the Sharks were sending back a D-man I came to a logical conclusion that Toronto's ask included a D-man in return and BA isn't going to give one of his prospects, nor did he have a servicable D-man he could spare..... PLUS two picks, and I don't BA parting with that much.

Mine isn't hindsight, the Leafs don't really want the Player they got in trade.Hindsight is also 20/20 too.
You just don't give up. All you have to say is "I think, or I assume, or in my point of view etc.Jakey likes to argue for the sake of arguing.....

So, your logical conclusion was so logical was it. TO wants to trade Benning.Hindsight is also 20/20 too.
I call it was I see it Jakey.... that's all.You just don't give up. All you have to say is "I think, or I assume, or in my point of view etc.![]()

More than likely TO was trying to force a bidding war and BA said screw that and went with option B!I call it was I see it Jakey.... that's all.
Hindsight is 20/20 Jakey.... and everyone is an expert the day after.
I can say with most certainty that when Toronto took Benning..... I doubt the Sharks cared what they did with him. They are at least 2-3 years behind where Utah currently is now in rebuilding their roster. They were looking to upgrade their D and in their position were able to let someone from their current D corp.
Now I will ask you and @Jamieh to put your expert GM abilities to use here and explain to the group what Utah assets BA might have given up to get Liljregen without sacrificing what he has built so far??? Knowing that BA did probably talk to Toronto about him.
I don't recall saying they should have gotten him or what assets to give up, I simply provided you with the info that a depth D probably was not required as Toronto doesn't want the one SJ sent them.I call it was I see it Jakey.... that's all.

You think I'm supposed to know what Treliving thinks?? We all now know he didn't want the D man that you asserted had to be part of a trade, you were wrongBecause you didn't say anything...... at all..... until long after the trade goes down and Benning gets shopped again.
Then you double down on it again here.....

No such implication?? I simply provided you the info that they didn't want Benning as they are trying to move him on without even playing a game.Maybe I was….. I said from the looks of it seemed they wanted one. You tried implying you knew beforehand they didn’t want a D return.
