What would be the point of moving up 1 spot? Utah is probably targeting Buium, Dickinson, or Silayev. Montreal probably isn't targeting any of them

At least one of Demidov , Lindstrom , Iginla , Sennece , and Catton will be available at five .

Same. All these trade offers depend so much on how different teams value various players, to the point they can't even be evaluated objectively.

Doesn't end with the draft, at best slows slightly, but its summer time bored fans (especially rebuilding teams fans) create lots of questionable trade ideas. This is a general rule year after year, not specifically just this year.

Don't know how likely it is, but I would do that deal (7 + 25 for 5 + our highest 2nd rounder next year). Then try and package 25 and 27 to get to 16-18 and target Stian Solberg. I just think he would be the glue to the top 4. Romanov with some offensive upside.
