EHL and EHLP not getting a thread?

USPHL/NCDC pulled out of here after contract was not extended by mutual agreement because I had the Thunder piece covered before they were relocated, in fact, that thread is still here.... so this is the general thread..... I mentioned one of them in the FPHL Thread since one of those leagues is affiliated w/ the FPHL

I have a question and a thread bump. Honest question, is the NCDC still considered tier 2 with the team registration fees by some teams instead of players registering with USA Hockey? I've heard these fees are way more then registering with USA hockey for say the NAHL.

I'm a little late to the news, but the Boston Dogs are now playing in the NCDC apparently leaving the EHL. I don't know of many situations, though I'm not the most knowledgeable, of teams switching leagues midseason. Boston Dogs Press Release

That's pretty bizarre. Amazing that they can fit them in to schedule games in the NCDC. Wonder what brought that to such a point that they couldn't wait out the season?

Well, not sure if this is a reason, but when the Dogs were in the EHL, the league had 3 other Boston area teams in the league, Terriers, Dukes, and Eagles. I know it's a very Northeastern focused league but that seems a bunch from one general area.
