Things we now know about Marko Dano
- will be a 1st line winger
- will be a 50-70 point player that is a beast on the PP
- will have a higher career high in points than Ladd (63 points)
- by NO means projects to be a 3rd liner
- wouldn't trade him straight up for Drouin
- Drouin has maybe a little more talent than Dano (but not much)
- has waaaay more pure skill than a Gallagher
- Danos iq and skillset is elite
- his vision is top notch
- his skill set is phenomal
- he is a very elusive player with great stick skills and vision
- will have a Marchessault like revival
- is an olympian (unlike mcdavid)

Words with repeated letters on Wordle makes me not want to play.

The game isn't designed for those kinds of words. Give us one from the thousands of other eligible words

Lol, what is this shit on Twitter with downvotes that apparently no one else knows about?

Why even bother if people, not even the author of the tweet, can't see them

It's probably some shit to fool people into sending less reports.

I don't give a f***, if your username is a truncated word followed by 8 numbers, I'm reporting you as a fake account.

most people are unaware of hard mode

a lot of people don't see it as "hard" mode either and find normal mode to be more strategy oriented than hard mode.

Hard mode was enabled the first time I played it.

Being able to ignore solved letters so you can guess whatever you want is apparently more strategic, lirl

6 guesses, each has 5 letters.

You could conceivably guess 25 out of 26 letters in your first 5 guesses, giving you all the letters, with possibly a few in the right position for one last guess.

Sure, that's a strategy but it's just blindly throwing out letters, rather than guessing words that would fit the letters you've already discovered.

It can be in a way - because it's a bit less RNG bound. On normal mode, trying to figure out the optimal strategy (i.e. word) to get a guess in 3 is a bit more challenging (if you're not using helpers). On hard mode, you can get stuck in a situation where there are several words matching your clues - but you can only guess at random. In such a situation on "normal" mode you could try to find a word to not have to randomly guess the right word in order to help isolate the solution.

Hardmode is more of a word game, while easy mode is more of a puzzle with words.

Whatever, my streak ended (and f*** the NYT) so I never want to play again

I understand how easy mode works, I just don't like the idea of being able to guess completely random words to clear out letters.

Sure, hard mode puts you in situations where there are more words that would fit than you have guesses, but I find that way more interesting than just guessing words with high frequency letters in them

The repeated letters situation is very easy to fix, just add another color for when you solve a letter and it repeats.

There, no more misleading bullshit where it tells you a letter is in the right place when that isn't entirely true.

Or just don't do words with repeated letters because the game isn't designed for them.

Gas prices could climb well past $5 a gallon, experts say | wcnc.com

What fearmongering bullshit. Nowhere in the article do these unnamed experts speculate on future gas prices.

Also, just buy a house closer to work to save money on your commute, what totally reasonable advice.

Now let's play the world's smallest violin for all the idiots who could have bought something economical but instead bought a giant piece of shit that gets 10mpg. You can't have it both ways, assholes, either buy something reasonable or shut the f*** up.

One word: "Vespa." Trailer hitch with truck nuts sold separately.
