must have had a lot of declines...I have no problem with him here, but he had a rough go at the WJC...so hopefully he does better here.
yep, kind of odd that he wasn't "good" enough for a regular top 6 role at the WJC with his deployment which was terrible, but apparently is good enough for this team. I will wait on further comments until I see the rest of this team, but we should have a strong offense, but this defense could be very bad especially with all the names we had available. It's embarrassing for USAH that we're naming 18 year olds to this team, and that's not meant as a slight to Hughes. He had a poor WJC, but Motzko and company own the majority of blame for that given their ridiculous usage of Hughes. However, even if he had a great WJC, it's not a good look for USAH and its dispassionate player pool that we have to leverage draft eligible NCAA players.
Darren Dreger reporting that Quinn Hughes is on the team.
Obviously there are a couple dozen players I would have liked to see on that roster...but it's pretty much a NHL roster. It's as good as it gets for USAH at the worlds.
Whoof that defense looks brutal.

Gibbons and Ryan over Mittelstadt....
