if only USA could have had a really good goal scorer on their team who scores 50+ goals a year in the OHL

We should turn down our aggression level a notch. A PK against the US is like conceding a 1/3 of a goal, it's not worth it.

Anyways, so far so good.

I don't like our PP units, though. It's one thing not to have elite skill, but they just don't have chemistry between them, especially the 2nd unit.

DeBrincat. Got cut for having two bad camps this year and a bad showing last year. USA will be fine without him.

For real. 50+ OHL goals don't mean anything if you don't show up when it counts. Debrincat did jack last year and didn't earn a spot at camp this year. At some point, he has to actually look like he belongs here, not just have the resume for it.

He had a bad year at the U20s as an 18 YO. He should be on the team, worst case as that extra forward.

I think Balcers has played okay - he has the skill to do some damage too but so far nothing's really generated. He's been red hot in the WHL and has racked up the most goals out of all WHL rooks.
