Minnesota has quietly a pretty decent prospect pool.

How did Fox and Parsons play? I guess kinda hard to take much from a hand like this.

Thought Parsons did well, though the tougher tests are obviously ahead of him. There were stretches in there where he wasn't getting much action, but when he was called on to make a big save, he did. Lots of goalies lose their focus when they don't have much to do, and he didn't. I didn't think anyone on the D really stood out aside from McAvoy.

McAvoy is clearly the best of the bunch, I liked Ahcan a lot too though.

Im really happy with game one. As others said, it wasnt a work of art....but we were solid defensively, forechecked adequately, Parsons was better than good, and our skill showed up when given some space. I'll go to bed happy.
