Wait, people were suggesting Parsons was a stupid move by Team USA? Really?

Hart played well, did very well in the shootout, but I think Canadians can agree that Parsons would have been a godsend for the past near decade. :laugh:
 
canadian coach made some questionable decisions...going to hart was his best one. wish he had the kahoons to bench strome's line, but instead they get the shootout and pp time.

lose with the guys that got you there. no shame in that..I felt cheated by the team canada coach.
 
Congrats USA fans. Awesome game.

Off year for Canada for sure. When your captain doesn't even show up for the final games, its a sad day in Canada.

If you like that format, you are welcome to it. No matter which team wins, it's a wimpy way to go for a gold medal game.
No matter who.
I don't use it against the result. Team USA did it when they needed to do. Good show by them.

The thing that makes Canadian fans such good fans is we respect our opponent after a medal game in victory or defeat.

Despite your insults, I have nothing but congratulations to say. Well earned victory by the Americans, the best team at the 2017 WJC. You deserve Gold. Respect.
 
What a freaking game...these Juniors care so much about this tourny.

On a side note boo Canadien fans for booing Team USA players when accepting their awards...pathetic.
 
Congrats to the us on winning this brilliant game but yeah they got to change it where the gold isn't decided in a shootout.
 
Well Dubois and Barzel (mostly Dubois) cost their country the gold. Well earned USA, you guys played a great game.

On a side note, hate to be a homer, but what a tournament/game by Chabot.

Just be Canadian.

Show our class like we always do following medal games. In victory or defeat, we respect and honour our opponent.

Congrats Yanks and neighbour, well earned victory. One of the best games I've ever seen, at any level.
