an utter shame this tournament ended like this

this is the sad result of one of the most entertaining games I've seen. I don't even feel that disappointed, the team did everything and more, and lost to a skills comp. I still feel Canada brought the better game overall tonight. Never behind, outshot, were more physical, dominated ot, then lose in a shoot out? I can't feel that devastated.

Why can't they just play OT until someone wins it? That game was incredible and completely lost it's lustre as soon as OT finished.

As a Flames fan, this tournament could not have gone better. 2/5 players get gold medals. 4/5 players overall get medals. 5/5 had great tournaments.

This might be the most impressive performance by a U.S. team in this tournament. To be beat Russia and Canada twice each and do so so in such dramatic fashion in the knock-out phase is unreal.
