Barzal looks worse this year than last year. I know he's being put in a bigger role, but the great glimpses he showed at times last year would make one think he should be able to handle it a year older. Strome has also looked pretty bad, whiffing on every other pass attempt (especially on the PP) the last few games.

They did that yeah, but they dived too. I watched as a neutral fan... it was embarrassing at times, looked like Italian national soccer team.

Agreed, they dived a lot. The reffing was bad. As a neutral fan.

Lots of emotion in here but have to admit it's been a great game.

Here's to a good third!

I agree. I have a lot of respect for American hockey. Old school style, I love it.

But for the next 20 minutes, screw you Americans! Jk, good luck in the 3rd lads.

Barzal and Strome think the PP is actually them vs 4 players.

They are trying to mesmerize the whole tournament with their Bruce Lee mythical moves...

Hey now, Italy has straightened up a little. Spain, portugal, brazil and england are king of the flop.

O'Neil nailed it, if the passing lanes arent there pass it back and just unload from the point.

Barzal and Strome act like they married always looking for each other when they're barely effective when holding on to it for long.

Glad to hear from all the experienced hockey players here who watched that tripping penalty in slow motion and thought it was a dive

It's going to be a great 3rd, bring it on!

Honestly no idea what you're talking about. He's practically carrying the offense. Sure he hangs onto it too much, as Marner did last year, but it creates a lot of chances.

While this world jr's hasn't been seen as being as talented as other ones in years past, there's some obvious future NHLers in this game that we will get to know on both teams.
