I don't think he earned anything last night. He was pretty average. Got beat 3 times in the shootout plus a crossbar too didn't do them many favors. Terry and Bracco had to beat Samsonov 4 times five hole to win that game. Certainly wasn't cause of parsons who is small and plays even smaller with that stance of his.

Woll on the other hand was stellar against Canada. Has been the better guy the entire tourney from what I've seen
 
So proud of the USA guys getting tot he finals.
There can't be a better measurement for us to play Canada for the gold.

Can't be the best until you can beat the best. That is the test for USA hockey today and forward.

Should be a great game!
 
I'm nervous for Canada. They just don't seem to have the magic that they used to have. Here's to an exciting game! :handclap::handclap:
 
Could someone please educate this old poor sap (me):

Trying to figure out how to watch US/Canada tonight. I don't get the NHL Network on my TV. But I've paid for NHL.TV (can watch NHL games out of market on my computer/phone). Will I be able to watch the game on my computer/phone? What about an archived US/Russia?

NHL Network directs me to NHL.com which I see no link to watch World Junior Championship games. I'm also afraid it will be blacked-out since its technically televised in my area.

I haven't watched any if these wjc games this year. I'd like to ask if fair to say that USA has a better and electrifying offence.. there's a player I like on their roster. ..Clayton Keller..
 
Canada seems to have a pretty meh team this year, relatively speaking.

If US were to beat them for Gold, this would be it.

Hoping for a good game!
 
USA definitely made the right choice to go with Parsons again. The guy is incredible when games matter most. 21(!!!) straight wins in playoff action (OHL Playoffs, Memorial Cup, WJC).
 
Neither team has tremendous options in net, just name your guy and cross your fingers. Unless one of them has his game of the tournament, the skaters will decide this one.
 
Gonna be a hard hitting, physical game.
IMO it comes down to the goalies.
Here's hoping Hart has 1 more in him like last game.

NHL.tv is not carrying the WJC. No freebies for we cord-cutters. The NHL Network has exclusive US broadcast rights, afaik.

Archived games, or at least highlights, are sometimes available on YouTube.

That isn't saying much.

USA flat out dominated Canada first game. Woll didn't need to do any exceptional saves. He was good positionally which is all USA needed, but Parsons is the better athletic keeper between the two. Especially if Canada ups the tempo.
