If, and that is a big if, they win it will be by one goal and maybe two if they get an empty netter.

This battle today between Canada and the USA illustrates how far college hockey has improved over the last 5 years. If you look at the Team USA Rosters over the last few years you will see a polar shift from a split between NCAA and CHL players to a roster of mostly NCAA players.

This game is basically an ALL STAR game between the NCAA and the CHL.

It's still a disappointment.

It will be only our second medal in the past five tournaments, and we've been decent at best prior to the Sweden game. A silver may not be considered a success, but it will certainly been less of a disappointment than in previous tournaments.

I am just excited to watch this game. I don't know how it tops the US win yesterday, but I hope its just as intense as both semi's were. Canada played really well...My wife just kept saying from the other room "Jesus, does anyone but Chabot get the puck?" The kid had a great game.

Here's to a good game! I love Canada, but I am hoping my brothers from the north take the L tonight.
