They should learn the rules. Seems like they're as uninformed as many ignorant posters in here.
Rofl. Don't pretend you knew the rules.

Yeah, but apparently the info given to media (and the teams?) say best of 3 for PO round too, but it certainly seems like it has been changed but someone missed to update the info to media.
Outdated rulebook? Pretty lame.

Considering even the russian coach looked confused i'd say a misstake has been made. It's IIHF:s responsibility to update the rules. It should be the official rules on their website that counts no matter what some article says.

So far all I have seen provided is an article saying they have changed the rule
But the actual rule itself is not changed in the rulebook![]()
good outlook and your 100% right...props. after a tough way to lose a great game...really hate that and it was a 1 bounce/break/play from going to either way.I also thought it is three shots in the shootout. But doesn't this really matter? OK so Russia would win after three shots. But outcome would be same, game decided in SO lottery. After all this is U20 tournament where kids show how they play. I hope the main wins for these kids in their future. At least they played with heart.
I thought we played pretty good had some decent chances, I really have no complaints about the game

yeah blame people looking at the rulebook (that has not been updated) and not some tsn article (which is not the official website of the IIHF)They should learn the rules. Seems like they're as uninformed as many ignorant posters in here.

We are unbeatable and the best ever!!! At least when games don't mean anything...![]()
It isn't his job to know, like it is the coaches, refs, etc.
You appear to have all kinds of excuses lined up.
Why the hell did the refs decide after USA's 5th penalty to take a meeting before Kaprizov could shoot his 5?
Why?
Why?
Why? So much questions after this game. Just toss a coin ffs.
They said five shooters and continuous shooters can go after the initial five. Am I supposed to apologize for you not being informed of the rules? If so, my condolences to you and Team Russia.
why does everyone use what TSN say as facts? TSN is The Sports Network, right? how are they an authority? Enlighten a confused swede here please.
It's the 2014-2018 rulebook
They shouldn't really change rules in the middle of that time period
