I think Shawn Weller and TJ Hensick have been underrated, from the American team. I expect Hagemo to have a big tournament, as well.

This years Canadian WJ team is getting more hype than any in recent memory. But, who does everyone think is the most underrated player on the team?

Andrew Ladd.

There hasn't been ANY love for the Maple Ridge, BC native.

Underrated?

Quincey, Dixon and Colliton come to mind.

If MacArthur, Fraser or Syvret have a big tournament they could be considered underrated.

I don't think Corey Perry gets enough love. He could potentially lead the tournament in scoring by a wide margin, yet some people are labeling him as the 13th frwd.

There isn't much talk about Braydon Coburn, but his impact will be huge. He isn't a huge hitter but he takes care of business along the boards in his own end.

For Canada is has to be Corey Perry....the man is an offensive machine this year, has more points then everyone except Crosby yet still was not a sure thing on the team....really I just don't get it. With his skill and offensive awareness he could very well lead not only team canada but also the tournament in scoring. Ovechkin might have something to say about that though.

Sleeper...Julien Sprunger and Roman Wick for the Swiss.....these guys are awesome together.

Unbiased Canadian

Hopefully Callahan because he's a Ranger prospect :D

... more likely Andrew Ladd, all the guy does is get criticized around here. I think people will start to see him as he is. A guy who could potentially be a core leader who works hard and pots 25-30 goals a year at the NHL level. Show some love for the most underrated yet often talked about player on HF.

With that said Olesz is better, and may push for the MVP if the Czechs perform well enough.
