It's time to plug Ullstrom in for Joensuu on the fourth line. Jesse's been solid, but Ullstrom's speed and chemistry with Cizikas makes for a better line. Ullstrom can bring a similar physical element to Jesse, but he also brings a game breaking element that Jesse lacks. The combo of Ullstrom/Cizikas/Martin has big time potential.

If there's any experiment to be made, this would be it. I'd think that the risk to chemistry would be minimal given the amount of time Ullstrom has spent on the team and with those players in particular.

I really liked Ullstrom during this year, and right now Joensuu seems to be playing on a similar level. It's a tough call but I wouldn't mind either to be frank.

Next year? Definitely Ullstrom and Cizikas.

got to love Cizikas . Shows up every night to play

I love Ulmstroms potential. Jesse is pretty smooth and has size. I think both need to play. Put David on 1st line and bench Boyes

I like Joensuu's size on that line right now. I'd keep him up. I also think he's got more upside than Ullstrom who after he slowed down started to remind me of Comeau.

It's true. What Jesse lacks in speed and intensity (two things Ullstrom provides), he makes up for in size. It's amazing how a couple of inches makes a ton of difference (just ask my girlfriend ;))

Did someone put something in your coffee this morning?

I like how that line is really big now, but they'd probably be even more of a threat offensively with Ullstrom slotted in for Joensuu.

I think Joensuu is/will be a good 4th liner, and Ullstrom is a pretty good fit for the 3rd line.

I agree with u ullstrom is a good fit for the 3rd line, i prefer mcdonald on the 4th line next year and ullstrom on the third with nielsen/nelson and grabs. I think Joensuu will not be retained.

Joensuu was pretty lousy in the last game. But overall he's played pretty well since he's been back. I'd have no problem making the switch, but I'm not so sure it's completely necessary either.

I agree.

Joensuu has been okay and has clearly improved on his skating, but he's no more than a too soft big body in the corners. He needs to improve his boardwork and cycling.

Ulstrom excels there because of his speed and he's far from soft.

REally like what I saw from Ullstrom. I would definately give him an opportunity over Jesse. I think Joensuu game has slowly declined from his first game, with this last game in CAR being his worst. Maybe a game off can get him going.

I don't think JJ was lousy, I thought he worked really hard and I think he battles really hard for pucks. He fumbled a glorious chance in the first period on a nice pass from Cizikas-to-Martin-to-JJ where he seemed to lose his balance awkwardly but I like his game.

I'd like to see Ullstrom play as well because he's big, fast and also battles hard.

But I'd sit Boyes. Not Joensuu.

Maybe consider McDonald in Boyes' spot? Anything is an upgrade. I'd even go Strome/Nino....cuz WHY NOT!

Ullstrom is great and I agree.

Also, I nominate you for the funniest Username award. If there is one :handclap:.

A move like this right now makes Little sense to me. A change on the 4th line is Unlikely to make a Huge. THe line is doing ok no reason to change. I would think this change would most likely Garner no real Result

I also think Joensuu was lousy as well. He doesn't deserve to make the roster by my opinion. I seen enough of him. Ulstrom is much better.
