I was getting one of my apartments ready after the tenant moved out. The range hood was very dirty so I bought another one.

So, today I thought I was going to replace the hood. Seemed easy enough. But when I removed the current hood, I found three dead birds inside the duct.

It took all my strength to just put the old hood on the counter and cover the dead birds with a garbage bag without throwing up.

Took a quick picture in case you're curious:

I'm now googling emergency cleaning services. They're mostly closed on sundays but whatever I'll find something. It's just horrible. There has to be some kind of way the birds were able to get inside the air ducts.

Imagine cooking on that thing and turning on the fan on the hood. Every time, particles from the dead birds just fly around... ack... I don't want to think about this anymore.

Ugh. :(

I recently found a stove in one of the storage units I bought, it is much nicer than the one that you have. If you are interested hit me up and I we can negotiate a deal.

Thanks

Hey @Masao if I move to Montreal in the next few years, is there a chance you can find an apt for me to rent? I've been practicing my french because I kind of want to move.

I don't care about the birds, or the range, but if you're offering an apartment, you should furnish it first

Load it up with pots, pans, microwave, beds, desks, couch, etc. etc. etc. and you can charge more than if it were unfurnished

Oh wait, never mind I'm fine
Let's go dance
There's no vodka at this table
Do you know anyone else here?
Oh my god, Jason just texted me
Should I go home with him?
I guess I took a good selfie
