I've been looking forward to the main event for some time now. I think if Overeem wins he'll get the winner of Werdum/Miocic. He has come up short every time it looks like he's close to a title shot but it's right there for him now.

Gunnar/Tumenov should be a good one as well. Gunnar hasn't quite reached the level I thought he would but they're two guys I like in that division.

Overeem will KO Arlovski in devastating fashion.

I think so too. Overeem has let me down and cost me money in the past but I might put some down if I can find decent odds. The site I use doesn't have any props up right now.

I just think that Reem is too powerful for Andrei, especially at this point in his career. Great career turnaround for Andrei, but it's going to come to a screeching halt on Sunday.

Not so fast, my friend. Post TRT / post-IV / modern Overeem is not the same killer. He was good against Cigano but not great. Nelson and Struve aren't impressive wins for him. I give Andrei a damn good chance in this fight.

MMAMania says ...
Alistair Overeem (-225) vs. Andrei Arlovski (+185)
Stefan Struve (-200) vs. Antonio Silva (+170)
... and I'll take Arlovski and Bigfoot, easy. Struve is the only guy in the division both slower than Bigfoot and also not really a knockout artist. Struve doesn't have anything for Bigfoot on the ground ... no idea why Struve is the favorite in that one.

Those were some nasty knees.

I don't know how far Krylov can go but he does bring some excitement.

What a performance by Gunnar. Looked pretty good with his striking too.

That fight was as fun as expected.

Maia/Brown and Lineker/Font on the prelims next week. That's going to be good.

Bigfoot has had no chin whatsoever since the TRT ban. Too bad.

Overeem should be the clear #1 contender at this point, very nice finish.
