To be honest, its a progress. These us teams used to crash us 7:1. We can dominate them in some part of the game now. We are equal in terms of speed, skills and drills,however its obvious how behind we are in terms of being medal contender. Decision making, mental strenght, hockey sense
I might be too negative but sorry I dont remember team who is not able to stay in offenzive zone in how many PPminutes?25? in two consecutive games. Guys also dont control emotions, this could lead to disaster in the group.
Today Czechs play with Russia. I hope they lose this match. Team is still strong and can beat everybody, except USA

Jeez these Swedish forwards have absolutely zero finishing ability. Elvenes just missed an empty net, moments later we score but it was obviously a D.....
Americans continue taking stupid penalties. Last one was ridiculous call and swedes got free goal.

US wins 5-1. Awful Swedish performance, despite outshooting them. Everything is on the outside, PP and goaltending is bad, forwards are not talented enough to create scoring chances their finishing skill is just pathetic. Not impressed by the US either to be honest but they surely deserved this win.
Liljegren looks like a player who has given up this season, he's a shell of his former self. Being paired with our worst defenseman doesn't exactly help either.

I could be mistaken, but I believe Russia has clinched 2nd place already and has nothing to play for in this game.

I think if Czechs win in regulation time, CZE, RUS and SWE would be tied in rankings until goal-difference between matches among teams in question is looked at. So Czechs need at least a two-goal win to leap to 2nd place ahead Russia. In order for Russia to slide to 4th place they would have to lose by 4 goals.

Didn't see Czech's games but what were the biggest problems what Czech's had in preliminary round?.
And who's gonna win Thursday's quarterfinal Finland vs Czech Republic.
I can say that Finland has played well 4 games and 4 wins.
But those won't matter anymore it's win or go home in Thursday.
PS be proud of that Czech's made quarterfinals i don't know what their main goals are but at least they reached the minimum goal ( spot in quarterfinals).

Canada instead of Finland is a nightmare. A swedish team on any level has never knocked out canada. Automatic loss.
