You guys are too optimistic imo. We look all about speed, drill and skills. No oppose to it but still swedes scored when they needed. Swedes look like more mature players than we are. We can not make any nifty passes, lot of guys had head down and took them much more time to do something with puck compare to swedes. Sure, Necas is superior but all by all we lack hockey sense compare to them which I dont uderstand to because it was always our domain...
 
Does anyone know what is the attendance record for this tournament in Europe?

The attendance has been really good so far, even for the non-Slovak group.
 
Let's face it, half the match us Swedes trained. It had nothing to do with the game on the medal candidate. Maybe it really is not. I do not see how we could play so badly.
 
that penalty call with just 1.5 min remaining in the game was f...ng atrocious. no way sweden would win in regulation without that helping hand from the refs!
 
Wow what a thriller, turned the game off after 2-0 in the 1st thinking a blowout would ensue. 46 save performance by Grishenko, only 10 by the Swedish goalie lol. Anyone have full game highlights please post. Was hoping Owen Sound what have been outed by the Greyhounds by now, Sushko could be the difference maker in close games like these.

I just got around to watching USA-Russia.

Did Toropchenko switch jerseys with Svechnikov? Where did this guy come from?
 
Is there replays to these games anywhere?...hate the timing offnit be during the day on the week mostly only allowing me to catch a few games :laugh:
