Over the past week, Los Angeles Kings center prospect Michael Amadio has had two of his lifelong dreams fulfilled. The first was making it to the National Hockey League, and the second was scoring his first NHL goal.

But even though most stories about players making their NHL debuts and/or scoring their first NHL goals are very, very similar—this one has much of that similar-ness (yes, I just made that word up), veteran center Brooks Laich added some interesting and refreshing perspective.
