No interest in Goodfellas? Really? You might be the only person that I am aware of who hasn’t seen it let alone not even interested in seeing it.

Do yourself a big time favor...you won’t regret it I promise you but go channel surfing one night the Rangers aren’t on TV like tonight and give a Goodfellas a watch.

And after you watch it and you don’t come back here and say “ wow what was I thinking...why did I wait so long to see Goodfellas...it was fantastic “, than my recommendation priveledges should be taken away by the moderators here...lol

In all seriousness...just go watch the dang movie already. If yo loved the Sopranos...you’ll love Goodfellas...they go hand in hand....like Band of Brothers TV series and the movie Saving Private Ryan....ya follow or as Tony Soprano would say...capiche?
As soon as Rags to Riches came on, I was hooked.

I like Young Frankenstein a lot, but prefer The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and High Anxiety.

Blazing Saddles is brilliant. Incredibly funny and racist and they don't spare anyone which is what makes it great.

Since you are my guest and I'm your host what are your pleasures? What would you like to do?

Hmm, play chess ... screw

Well ..... let's play chess.

Binged Walking Dead S10a. Too bad Andrew Lincoln quit, because it has bounced back to being a good drama ever since S8.

he left the show but not sure I'd call it quitting since they are going to make rick grimes movies

I hope the movies happen, but the cynic in me keeps thinking it's a smokescreen and eventually they'll announce a cancellation.

I think they will happen cause they know its nearing the end of its life and they want to milk it for everything they can lol

You're right. FTWD is pure rotting garbage at this point, and I don't even know if I can commit to another spinoff, though they already said that it won't go for more than 2 seasons.

yeah another spin off is coming...but think about how many shows last 10+ years...they are basically in year 16 between the 2 shows which are basically the same show. they probably have till they hit the end of the comics so a couple more seasons.

Always surprised when The Producers and Blazing Saddles aren't the two favorites of Brooks fans, but everything is just about opinion..

'Life Stinks' is one of my favorite Brooks' movies. I like it more than his confirmed classics. And I'm not sure why I like Life Stinks, it wasn't very funny or quotable like Saddles or Spaceballs, but..

Yeah. Unless they completely plow into uncharted territory and just continue to create new stories and ditch the comic remixes altogether. I understand the crossover decision with FTWD. Parallel timelines make for easier transitions. I really liked FTWD seasons 2 and 3. It was different enough than TWD and often much more innovative.

S2 was good. I thought s3 was really good. S4 started out good, but went downhill fast (by basically replacing Madison with horrible Morgan). It's just terrible now.

Definitely. The crossover with Morgan started out ok but the two showrunners who took over have completely taken it on a nosedive. They keep telling us that there will be payoff to all the changes. Maybe, but what good is that if no one is around by then?

Here is a pretty good article about how bad the past 2 seasons were with the new showrunners. It hurt reading it. So many bad things.

As 'Fear The Walking Dead' Keeps Getting Worse, AMC Needs To Make Some Big Changes

For those of y’all who like me are big time “Better Call Saul” aficionados and have been waiting way too long for the new season, got some good news as the new season 5 comes back 2/23.

Been way too long and so I might need to watch the last 2-3 episodes of season 4 to get back in gear. And for those of y’all who have never watched BCS, if you liked Breaking Bad, it would be extremely difficult to not get into it.

Oh and the final season of Homeland begins next Sunday nite....looking fwd to that as well.

Certainly an atypical Brooks film. Not a big fan, but it doesn't matter what others think.

The Outsider is getting creepier and creepier by the episode. I’m into it and tho it has its warts, it has me hooked!!

I thought the creep factor was strong in the first 2 episodes and came back really strong this last episode.

Not sure if you have heard, but they announced that there are 2 seasons remaining for BCS. We'll be seeing both Hank and Hector Salamanca this season.

Yup. Good piece; I've read it before. Erik Kain is a really good commentator on the series, along with his Forbes colleague Paul Tassi. His individual episode reviews are good too.

I used to read them every week, but I stopped recently. The episodes of FTWD have been so bad. TWD at least has been better.

I actually had read that BCS was renewed for a 6th and final season which is awesome news indeed!. I also read that there could be some "surprise" former Breaking Bad characters who might be making appearances these final two season(Walter? Jesse? Lydia?, Hector Salamanca as you said but also those nutso cousins of his Leonel and Marco Salamanca?

So it should be an epic final two seasons hence why I can't wait till festivities begin in 3 weeks.

I know I'm just a wealth of knowledge today but just read Ozark Season 3 will be released sometime in the late summer/early fall which to me says September.

Still awhile from now but at least when football starts again, we'll know we have Ozark to look forward too as well.

Ozark is another on of those unsung underrated series which once you start binging, you simply can't stop!!

Can someone who is a Westworld fan convince me to finish watching Season 1(I think I got thru 5 episodes and I got bored) and that I should carry on and watch the next few seasons?

I mean it looks good...the trailers are intriguing but something is stopping me from doing it which I can't quite put my finger on hence why I'd like to read someone's reasoning as to why Westworld is such a good show that HBO keeps renewing it year after year...thx in advance!

I've felt the same way about the Walking Dead and gave it a little love early on and it just didn't do it for me. I never got into True Blood or Mad Men like everyone did. I dunno, there are just some series that lots of peeps love that I find myself avoiding for no real reason at all other than the fact everyone likes the show and so I'll be contrarian instead. I'm the one who's losing it tho...lol

But that really doesn't completely fly seeing I loved Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Game of Thrones and everybody and their mother loved those shows too.

Me I'm more apt to go for shows like the Wire, OZ, Peaky Blinders, Sons of Anarchy, Fargo, Better Call Saul, The Shield, Homeland and back in the day when some of y'all where still in diapers St.Elsewhere, NYPD Blue, LA Law, West Wing....etc etc.

I'll stop babbling now. As I originally said, I really would like a Westworld lover to help convince me and bring me over to the dark side...haha

Am I the only one in here who has been a "This Is Us" watcher from the beginning?

It would make me feel better to know I'm not the only f***ing guy who watches this damn tear jerker of a show....lol
