So before reading this, there's a few things I'd like to say just to clear confusion and FAQ's.

-There are no goalies in this ranking, I'm not a goalie scout, and I'm not very good at evaluating them!
-The MAX number of games played in the NHL to be included is 25. I could have missed out on a few guys but I tried.
-This is purely my opinion using my own scouting, sorry if your team's player isn't high enough.
This includes 2018 drafted prospects.
Thanks for reading; comments, questions and opinions are always welcome, I will try to respond to as many as I can.

A lot of picks on here I don't agree with, but to each his own. The names that really jumped out are Michael Dal Colle. 7 goals in 60 games last year in his 2nd AHL season. Why? Also, Danny O'Regan who is a 24 year old forward.

Hats off for undertaking this, and I really like it in general.

That said, there’s a couple confusing rankings. Dal Colle and O’Regan have been mentioned, but why is Comtois, who has been looking like the 2017 top-10 pick he was supposed to be this past year, so low?

Thanks for all the hard work. Good list.

You have Julien Gauthier twice--143 and 146. You have D Sebastian Aho as Carolina prospect.

solid list, making these are just an absolute pain in the ass and near impossible for me based on the difference in positions. but all the names are there, people can argue on where they should fall..

I am not going to say much as I couldn't make one any better than this list, and this isn't directed just at your list only...but, there again will be some serious egg on peoples faces over Brady Tkachuk. You have him in the 20's, it simply just will not be the case. for whatever the reason we went through this stuff with Matthew and now again with Brady...it isn't just you and it honestly makes zero sense to me when nearly every major scout has acknowledged this kid as a potential star player with the highest % of becoming a NHLer next to only Dahlin...

appreciate the effort and like where you have a lot of the Hawks top kids as well.

A lot of obvious bias towards Vancouver players showing in this list...

Pettersson at 2 and over Svechnikov is pure bias, plain and simple. Hughes being at #8 and ahead of Zadina, Kotkaniemi, and being so far ahead of Bouchard/Boqvist/Dobson is also some pretty strong bias.

Then you look further down the list and see Gaudette at 42, Dahlen at 55, Lind at 57...

The big ones are Pettersson and Hughes, but there's a definite bias showing in this ranking. Usually pretty good lists but cant say I'm a big fan of this one.

I mean, I’m a Vancouver fan, as much as I try to be as unbiased as possible, I just naturally watch more of our prospects. Opted for Pettersson over Svechnikov just based on dominance of a men’s league over junior league.

Thanks. I'm sure you know my stance on Brady after over a year of me being a main voice against him, just not a fan.

Props for giving Dube some love. He doesn’t get much love on these kind of things.

He looks amazing in rookie camp (probably should have made the Flames on merit last year)

This is not a biased list at all and Tryamkin has never been a homer in these lists. Seems like you don't like something about the list so you're looking for a reason to criticize it, otherwise I don't know what the problem is. These rankings are very fair and none of those Canucks players are that far from the consensus, they have one of the best prospect pools in the NHL for a reason.

Anyway pretty solid list Try. One of the most dedicated users on here for updated prospect lists. Keep up the good work.

Pettersson and Hughes are legit elite talents. If you take a look at https://hfboards.mandatory.com/threads/top-50-drafted-prospects-2018-41-45.2538059/ , you'll see HFBoards put Hughes almost the exact same distance between the next 3 D. I'm not seeing the bias but I don't know Gaudette, Dahlen, and Lind very well so maybe they are too high.. not sure. As for Hughes and Pettersson too high, no – they are right where they belong.
