If you dislike the newest Reddit layout that was forced on users a few weeks ago, there's a simple fix: create a subreddit. It can be private and something that no one ever has to see or that you ever have to use. Just the fact that it exists allows you to access the older site layout that you may've been using for the last 8 years.
Just click on "Create a community" on the left of the screen, choose a name (I simply used my username) and description, pick any 3 topics (doesn't matter, since the sub will be private), then choose "Private" and create. From now on, like before, make sure that your URLs contain "new.reddit.com" instead of "www.reddit.com".
Anyways, I just thought that I'd share that in case anyone else occasionally uses Reddit and dislikes the new layout.
