I don't freaking get it!

Surprised this guy doesn't just luck into more bounces all season, but I'm happy he saves them for the POs

Not bad for someone with hands stiffer than the Gretzky statue...

Since this site doesn't have a like button, I am giving you a Craig Button

To me, it's more coincidence than anything else, but I will give credit to JCM as he called it early in the season.

Playoffs usually have guys who score big goals not be super stars or stars. That's why hockey is such a great sport, it's a true team sport. I think in the playoffs guys are so hard pressed to keep the stars off the score board when they see a guy like Lewis they're apt to give him more room or let him go since he doesn't scare them. Reminds me of Rychel and Schuchuk in the 93 playoffs, these grinders seem to excel when the game is played tightly in the playoffs.

Trevor Lewis is the next John Druce, except without the crazy amount of goals Druce scored that one magical playoff run with the Caps. And Dwight King may be remembered in the same vein as Chris Kontos.

There are guys every year who do this. In 2006, I remembe Fernando Pisani for the Oilers having a bunch of huge goals. A year or two ago, Peter Regin (I think that's his name) had a big playoffs for Ottawa.

BTW.. Lewis has more goals than Carter.

EDIT: And I'll never forget Chris Kontos because my first ever Kings game was the game he had a hat trick in. I think that was '89?

Yep, 'twas 1989.

Stars get you the Cup, but it's guys like Lewis that get teams through the playoffs. You have to have both to win.

Trevor Lewis unleashes the rage on a daily basis. God can only help those who have been targeted by his rage. Good thing Trevor Lewis is in the NHL. The NBA, MLB, MLS and NFL couldn't handle the Lewis.

It's nice that a few are finding their way to the net. But last season his playoff numbers were horrible, and the year before they were very decent during the cup run. Let's hope his hot streak continues, because a lot of others are not contributing like they should be.

Oh well, I did not specify it was a reference to the 2012-13 season.

Oh, back on topic, Trevor, alongside Tyler, were the first two Kings players I ever had the privilege to meet in a meet and greet in Beverly Hills.

My point was my original comment was made in jest, but apparently your sarcasm detector is broken.
