I was born in Providence, RI and raised in St.Louis, MO.

My wife is from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

My kids were born in VA, but learned how to walk and talk in Japan.

I've been all over the world as a sailor

Pizza is different to me.

I TRY to eat pizza for every meal.

No joke.

I'm 49, so you would think I'm horribly fat. But I'm not somehow. My family thinks my heath is bad bc of my diet, but all test results are great.

Triple pepperoni till the end!!!

If you name a continent, I'll give you a story

My goodness!! Talk about a world traveler. What industry are you in?

I went to Bruges for the first time a couple months ago. It was beautiful.

Awesome. That would be my wife's dream job.

If you had to retire to a different country, which countries would you consider? I would choose Switzerland or Spain.

What are your favorite cities? I like Paris, NYC, Amsterdam.

Canada, about 20 times, but always in Ontario. Some day I will stop in Montreal.
Mexico twice. Puerto Vallarta & Mexico City. Later Cozumel Island, Playa Del Carmen & the Mayan ruins in Tulum.
Jamaica. Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Dunn's River Falls was an interesting climb.
Germany, Frankfort and Munich. The airport in Frankfurt was like a shopping mall. Bavaria was interesting to me.
Czech Republic, Prague and Cesky Krumlov, a cute little river town. It reminded me of Frankenmuth, MI.
Austria. Salzburg, Linz, about 20 miles on the Danube, Melk and Vienna. Vienna was fabulous!
England. London and Wimbledon. I wanted to visit Greenwich, but I didn't get that far east.
Bahamas: Nassau and Coco Cay. They claim to have their own money, but I only saw US bills and coins.

I have been to 35 states and DC. This summer I will go to Seattle, Washington and Alaska to make 37.
Maybe I will get a stop or two in British Columbia?

Just off of Midway Island--you can not actually go on the Island but you can hang out a mile or two off shore(this was in 2010is)

I am sure I am missing some--twice I had to get a new passport because I filled the original up with stamps

France, Switzerland and Italy this summer for 3 weeks through the alps. Would love to hear some input from anyone who has been... Staying at bnb's and hiking and exploring are the main goals, with some tourist and low effort days to keep the wife happy. Chamonix - Zermatt - Grindelwald - possibly Dolomite range if time permits.

I visited Chamonix in 2012. It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I did the Tour du Mont Blanc, but I'm sure there are endless possibilities for day hikes. The cable car ride to high in the Alps is one of the obvious attractions in town.

Our original plan was the TMB but things booked up at the refuges before I could book vacation at work so our plan changed to 4 cities in the Alps and day hikes from there. Also the wife prefers a little more luxury on vacation while I am fine tenting and being a dirt bag for a couple weeks.
