Nice. I have been wondering about Maxim Kitsyn's progress. I had a feeling that he would have the right attitude in Ontario and I'm pleased that he's working hard every day on the ice and in the gym. Hopefully he'll listen closely the coaches and take notes so he doesn't repeat mistakes and he'll improve his hockey IQ. I'd like to see him ready for Manchester sooner than later.

Great article as always, Gann. Keep us updated on Max.

At the game yesterday he did rip a wrister that the goalie never saw coming. Pretty amazing shot, very quick release between the dots but it went wide. Hope he sticks with the program and gets better, because it looks like the tools are there, he just needs to know how to use them.

nice attitude, great read, hopefully Maxim is no more than 3 years away:

“I never had a training camp like that before,†he elaborated. “It was very difficult, because when you practice with NHL guys, they’re so strong, fast and skilled. But that’s the level I have to reach, and that’s why I’m here.â€

Sounds like Jeff Carter should adopt him as a long lost Russian little brother.
