No. At least not if any watching one of the best powerplays in the NHL manned by ADA tells us anything.
Fox will get mop up duty for 20 seconds of pp2 time. Unfortunately, KAkko and Lafreniere will as well.

Every PP, even the best in the league, goes through down spells. I'm sure the coaches will mix it up at some point and Fox, Kakko, Laf will get their chances

Chytil turned 21 on September 5th.

Only 3 players from the 2017 draft have played more regular season games than Chytil (the top 3 picks in that draft).

Yeah but two players who are not included in that group of 3 are Cale Makar and Elias Pettersson.

Still, no one selected after him him has his track record.... barely anyone selected anywhere near him (Robert Thomas maybe).

Laf woke up in the morning, looked himself in the mirror and said "I'm going to kill Libor Hajek today."

That approach will serve to motivate the entire Rangers roster and lead them to unprecedented success in the decade to come.

Hajek:

How many cups of wine have you had already?

Seriously, I will say that it feels like we are on the verge of a précises that we have not felt before Rangers fans. At least I have not. To be sure, there will be growing pains and disappointments, but the team appears to be on the doorstep of something special.

I don't know what happened to you, you used to be such a pessimist.

None yet. But my mother-in-law is staying with us at the moment, so I should probably be on my third bottle by dinner time.

But I agree, this is perhaps THE most unique time in modern history for this team.

There's arguably more prospect potential on the board than at any point in franchise history (the only real challenger would be the early 90s).

On top of that, there's legit high-end NHL talent on the board.

They can arguably make a competitive offer for most players they could want or need.

You've got legit, franchise-level potential on this roster. I mean honestly, prior to this fall, Kakko was in rare company in franchise history for how he was viewed. Lafreniere is beyond even that. There is literally no point of reference for this as a franchise.

Consider that we have a group of defenseman, age 26 and younger, that includes Trouba, DeAnglo, Lundkvist, Schneider, Fox,Robertson, Lindgren, Miller, and Jones and that it is not possible to have all of them on the roster at the same time. I mean just reflect on that for a second. It's absolutely insane.

6-on-5 play (delayed penalties, trying to the tie the game late) is going to be really interesting. So many weapons to choose from.

I think 3-on-3 OT play is going to be more interesting... at some points I bet it'll look like Harlem Globetrotters vs Washington Generals....

and other times it'll look like a fire drill (inexperience players missing assignments).

I really wish the cap made adjustments for non-FAs.

If you look at their production and the advantage ADA had from being on PP1 is it unreasonable to think that Fox could score as much as Tony?

Way to pull this out of your ass.

Well said.

I don’t care if this was already posted. This is f***ing nuts. Knocks the puck lose, avoids clipping his left skate on the other player’s, and just destroys Hajek.

Seriously watch the skate lift at ~00:01; kid doesn’t even have to think out there.

I wasn't aware of this clip and this is the first time I'm watching it.

But, yeah, he's really impressive. Every watch of the clip reveals a new nuance.

Like noticing Northwell Health is the sponsor. Hajek needs some Northwell Health.
