I'd be happy if he was top 5 on the Rangers in a couple of seasons
I'd be satisfied or ok with it, definitely not happy though. I wasn't happy with KK last year but I get it. Laf is higher end and more physically ready, or so it seems, so a slow development for him is more concerning and might mean he doesn't end up hitting his high end.

not a CBA wiz, but Roberston may be using an ELC year this season regardless

Robertson and Jones.

Remember Lindgren is already here and at the very least can hold down a top 6 role adequately if not better than that. He was really good post new years.

I would also add Reunanen to that group. I had low hopes for him in a scrimmage camp without pre-season camp, it’s more physical and raw ability with less structure. But I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if he would have had a stand out game in a real PS game. Not 100% how he will fare in the AHL, but I am hoping that he can turn a lot of heads there.

chytil like just turned 21 too no? He’s so young ton of upside there for sure.

September, yes. I keep thinking about this team and all of the talent up front, you almost forget about Fox and ADA, now Miller - and all of the others coming.

Then you throw in the fact that almost every season preview I've seen of the Rangers they don't even mention Kakko or Igor.

It's hard not to get ahead of yourself, but even though there is really so much to be excited about we all know its still a long process. In two years Kakko will be the same age as Chytil is now. Its mind blowing.

And what happens if Buch has a consistent season and finally gets what it means to be a pro (he admitted he's more mature in his interview) and hits another level?

That's my prediction. Good to know I have that much impact on Lafreniere's life. Let's see what other great powers I unknowingly have.

Sorry, relax. Plus I didn't realize that pulling stuff out of one's nether regions constituted a great power. Pretty cool name though: Captain Pull One Out of My Arse! j/k!

He has even more trade value then.

Chytil turned 21 on September 5th.

Only 3 players from the 2017 draft have played more regular season games than Chytil (the top 3 picks in that draft).

While we're on that topic, only three players from the 2018 class drafted after Kravtsov have played more than 30 games, and out of them, only Farabee has impressed.

And Kaprizov, the Russian rookie that everyone is currently drooling over, spent 5 seasons after being drafted in the KHL before coming over. Kravstov is on his third after being drafted.

Actually, I think this is his D+2 season.
