I can’t believe we start in 2 days.

I’m keeping my expectations low and won’t be disappointed if Laf doesn’t start hot, but how sweet would it be if he scores in our opener? A big hit on an Islander, a goal... I’d lose my mind. The parade would start being planned.

If that line can produce, it will create a ton of matchup problems for other teams.

I said it before. Chytil is 21. With 144 games already under his belt. 21! He is ready to take the next step and worked all summer on his shot. Now he has the #1 OVA on his left. Then you think about Gauthier and his skills - if he can put it together and help drive that line... could be very dangerous -

Especially when teams are game planning for the Zib and Panarin lines that now feature a more mature Buchnevich and a more experienced Kakko.

IMO, Laf is going to be one of the top 5 players in the game in a short amount of time.

Glad to see we aren't putting too much pressure on him. There are alot of great talents in the NHL. I'd be happy if he was top 5 on the Rangers in a couple of seasons. He's only 19 years (plus some days plus some hours plus some seconds) - to be more accurate. Don't want anyone getting a hard-on because I'm not being exact enough. LOL!

That's my prediction. Good to know I have that much impact on Lafreniere's life. Let's see what other great powers I unknowingly have.

So dead on. Last year you had to really worry about the 1st 2 lines and could relax when the 3rd and 4th line hit the ice. If you can get 3 lines that can put the puck in the net you are going to start getting mismatches. This forces the other team to put out one of their "scoring lines" against the 3rd line. Should be fun!

I wish we started against another team. The Islanders are unwatchable at this point.
