Dat ass.

I never enjoyed playing "fix the Penguins" in older video games, nor "fix the Oilers" in more recent ones.
This roster, with a window opening as early as next year, is one of the most exciting rosters you could ever start a fantasy team with.
Find a way to nab a legit 2C over the next season and a half, and you're off to the races!

Larry must have read my post before he wrote his story. Johnson may not be as easy to move through waivers. If a team gets a couple of injuries on the back end, they might pick Jackson up if he is healthy and playing as well as he is capable.
???Kreider meanwhile looks like a f***ing Greek sculpture.
If only that dude can straighten out his mental issues.
The scuttlebutt internally is that he is physically ready. Whether his game is ready, or would benefit from the AHL remains to be seen. I expect the Rangers to keep a pretty open mind either way, but they won’t force the issue either.
The front office is very excited about Miller. But I’ve never quite gotten the impression from the organization that they expect him to make the squad. I think the excitement comes from the player they can see taking shape for the future.
Right now, I lean toward him needing more time. I think it’ll probably do him good to spend time with coaches focused on development and really
teaching him the nuances of the position, without Miller also having to balance academic work.
But, if he can handle things, so be it. Let’s roll.
Bread looks goofy AF all the time.
Hopefully our next captain is ok and ready when the season starts.
I tend to agree that barring some untold personal situation or logistical failure by the NYR organization (which to be fair is 100% possible so will try to give benefit of the doubt), Zibanejad missing time in an already short camp because he didn't arrive in time and needs to quarantine is not a great look. And certainly would expect more from a player reportedly being considered for captain.
If JT Miller or DeAngelo did that they would be getting roasted on here and subject to "character concerns" whispers.
Edit - also is possible he is somehow injured I suppose or that he actually has COVID. Impossible to say. So again give benefit of the doubt...
It's also possible that he got the green light to show up late because he had to deal with some stuff back home. We know that hes been skating and getting his work in during the time off, but sometimes life happens.
stronger is good. He was kind of weak. But yes he needs to be faster and in better shape.I don’t need to hear that Kakko is bigger and stronger, I need him to be faster.

Any interesting tidbits out of camp today?
This sums it up pretty well.I tend to agree that barring some untold personal situation or logistical failure by the NYR organization (which to be fair is 100% possible so will try to give benefit of the doubt), Zibanejad missing time in an already short camp because he didn't arrive in time and needs to quarantine is not a great look. Are we the only team missing one of our best players if not best all around player to start camp without any reason being given?
I mean even Nico Hischier told the media he tweaked his knee training and could miss a little time. If it is just quarantining then i would imagine there is good reason He came so late since players knew the situation now for some time?
That’s what I’m thinking. Unless Quinn comes out and says he he has a lower body or upper body injury in his presser. No reason being given = almost certainly covid related.
Unless he concussed himself opening the overhead compartment on his flight over here.
Yeah you'd think. Players have "life" things come up all the time and the team just says the player is dealing with a personal issue and that's that. I don't recall many/any situations where a family or other personal matter gets called "day-to-day." That's pretty much exclusively an injury or illness designation. If it's a COVID thing and the League and Players agreed not to disclose that I'm fine with it.No reason being given = almost certainly covid related.
