Yeah my lady and all of her roommates got it in March and the severity of their symptoms were all different.

She had a slight fever but a pretty heavy cough that lingered for a bit. 2 of her roommates had really mild (or no) symptoms and the other one had to be hospitalized and was on a ventilator (she recovered, but shes still feeling effects.)

The inflammation that some people experience is the scariest thing, especially for an athlete.

Its different from person to person. Most of my son's team had it; all asymptomatic. The great thing is that the medical professionals (guessers) told them that as far as COVID was concerned they were supermen. They could not get it again for 90 days. LOL - they really have no clue. I told my son to be careful and take percuations.

humble brag about having a girlfriend

Kinda funny how they left us to speculate on Mika, only for him to come out a week later and be like "Yeah, I had it. It sucked bro". What was even the point?

The NHL and NHLPA agreed not to disclose positive COVID tests during camp.

I'm aware, why though? I guess it's a rhetorical question, just find it funny when minutes after camp technically ends it's disclosed anyway.

Because had they disclosed it up front, New York media and this board would have spent the last 7 days speculating who else Zibanejad gave covid to and whether there’s even a point to the season. Instead, it’s been good vibes only and Zibanejad’s illness is in the rear view.

IDK why that's the protocol. I think the NHLPA would probably prefer it being kept private through the season as well, but understand it's impractical.

I think Zibanejad self-disclosed, though.

It seemed like the NHL policy was only to disclose outbreaks.

My speculation is it seemed like they were worried about approvals from US/ Canadian Government to allow play. So posting every positive case could be used against the NHL to bring play back.

Good point, that would make sense.
