Our trade for ROR etc is unreal now and I already liked it anyway. Like others said... Boston basically took our template for that trade and even then I still think we got the best players for the price Leafs paid.

So yeah... that trade there is brutal. Like f***ing bad and I still think the Hagel one last year was even rich despite how well he is doing.

Sorry and I don't buy the... draft picks mean nothing with Tampa anymore. I don't think they're going far this year. East is very good.

Jeannot doesn’t have to score goals, he’ll just hit everything in sight and injure our main players. That’s why TB is on him. Not for goals but for his crashing and banging in playoffs. Remember how Barrie whined after Columbus player hit and went to the locker room in game 5. Same shit happens every playoffs. Man, I wish Leaf could be more dirty in a smart way. Like f.cking Tampa.

Boston vs Tampa 2nd rd is gonna be a bloodbath
Yes, they countered the ROR and Acciari trade with Tanner Jeannot when the Leafs were already ahead of them even with season long injuries. I guess that means no chance for the Leafs?

Tampa better win the cup this year ti make that deal worth it

Jeannot has the ability to impose his will physically in a game but that's not worth like 1st to 5th round picks and a draft bust nhl player

In Tampa's defence, they paid the huge price for Hagel last year and he's broken out this year and is still under team control .. Jeannot is under control after this year too.

Still. Wow.

That doesn't justify grossly overpaying in a trade

I think it does, and guess why? Cause Tampa has a track record of winning. So ownership doesn’t even think twice about a trade like this. Tampa will continue to mortgage the future because their ownership is all in on winning. There is no price too big to help you win.

I completely agree with you, but also that haul they gave up is asinine.

Thats a terrible trade for Tampa but Jeannot is gonna injure like 3 leafs defenseman in the playoffs, its inevitable
