Again they're not bad pieces, it's a nice collection of good assets ... and this trade would look brilliant if they could hit on 2-3 them.. but the prospects may not pan out either. Those 1sts could bust too and won't be making the NHL for a few years.

Ifyou're rebuilding you need core, elite pieces to win... Moving your best asset and not getting that calibre of prospect back is a wasted opportunity IMO.

Imagine SJ winning the lotto and getting Bedard with Nemec or Hughes in your pipeline. Those are two key building blocks.

I don't like the fact there is only 1 first round pick. Good odds the other pick is a pretty late 2nd.

The Engvall-Kampf-Jarnkrok line leaves me wanting a lot more from a playoff style standpoint.

They should put Kerfoot back on there.

Jarnkrok has been excellent on a scoring line, but not good on the shutdown lines.

But Engvall-Kampf-Kerfoot were excellent together. I don't know why they would touch that line.

Put Jarnkrok back in the top 6 or put him on the 4th line. 4th line is a bit of a waste for him, but at least he can feast on other teams' 4th lines and provide special team value until ZAR is upgraded or ROR is dropped to the bottom 6.

Tampa doesn’t need him to score, they are getting him to lay the body and be a physical presence. They get it, it’s not all about fancy stats and scoring. It’s literally about making life difficult for the other teams. Jeannot is going to run through our defense every chance he gets on the forecheck.

Jarnkorks best role is riding on the coat tails of better players and finishing scoring chances.

I'd go with Jarnkork on the 2nd line and ROR as 3C to match-up guy
