I’m all for Kakko, but I’m a sucker for hidden potential (probably none left, but still). He can be a solid 3RW on a defensive line. Board play and cycle for days. Could be a younger (less variable un effort i Hope) Armia (shit a lot on him, but he’s pretty sick on the pk for now)

agreed. Depending on the price off course. Also, what are his demands contractually because i think he will ask for a long-term deal.

Man I wish I had his job:

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger appeared on TSN Radio Friday morning to discuss the path Hughes would take heading toward the March 7 trade deadline.

“Kent Hughes is listening to just about anything that would help the Canadiens. As we know, it's more about the future,” Dreger said. “You look at the players you mentioned and you think 'How would they fit in long-term?' Then you balance that with what the market is presenting and what might be offered for one of those players.

I think he would ask for bridge deal. He basically proved be can be 3rd line 40 points guy. If he gets more icetime, he could be 2nd liner on weeker team and cash out after couple years.

Surprise! Kent Hughes doesn't have anyone calling him for trade talk. :sarcasm:

I think if Crosby accepts a trade, he does for the Penguin s organization to start the rebuild properly. And following this premiss, i doubt he handcuffs them by saying there is only 1 team he wants to be traded. IMO, he will give them 2-3 teams to at least imply some sort of betting war.
will see what happens but i think its either he stays or going to Colorado to reunite with Mack
