You know that a 2nd centerline spot, the player need to make around 45-60 pts at minimum and more?

I could see Micheal Hage to become a real 2nd centerman, but Kapanen and Beck. This is a huge ecpectation and at 90% not realistic in my opinion.
Not necessarily, but I agree, ideally they should eventually reach that range in their career. We've had plenty of 2C who didn't produce in that range right? Without being a bottom team even. I mean the league having 32 clubs changes that figure from division to division.

I see Hage as 1st line C potential.

You expectation are a notch too high in my opinion. It depend what kind of team you want. Jack Hugues is a first center, Jack Eichel too. They were just destroying the ushl/NCAA. Nick Suzuki wich is a 1B centerman in the NHL was litterally dominating the OHL. I mean, Hage is a solid piece in the NCAA as Snuggerud, as Mcgroarty.., but to expect that this guy is gonna be better than Suzuki. I can’t see it. Bettet than Dach, yes I could see
I think there is a difference between « to be good » and « destroying » the league even at young age. Suzuki, Eichel, Hugues were destroying the league. And they are first line Centerman. Hage is good, but I don’t think he is destroying the NCAA

Plekanec became a 1st line C. The league has 32 clubs, the 1st line C isn't necessarily a top pick. You could spend north of a decade in drafts looking for your definition of a first line center. It's no longer manageable. Hage should slot in right about the time when Nick is deciding whether he wants to stay or not. By that time, I expect Beck or Kapanen to be established as well.

i think that IF Crosby is traded it will be to the team of his choice and the return wont be that great probably a 1st and B prospect
I think if Crosby accepts a trade, he does for the Penguin s organization to start the rebuild properly. And following this premiss, i doubt he handcuffs them by saying there is only 1 team he wants to be traded. IMO, he will give them 2-3 teams to at least imply some sort of betting war.

I'm sure Beck will establish himself quite easily. Kapanen, i'm not sure, let alone as a centerman.

I think Hage is probably a sure thing top 6 center and Beck a bottom 6 one.

That being said, i don't know if i am being good with a centerline of :

1-Suzuki
2-Hage
3-Dach
4-Beck

I guess if Suzuki/Hage become 1a/1b type of duo, i would be good with this.

Dvorak/Evans are UFA, Dach is the only other NHL center who can pay the position somewhat on the roster.

Next season is going to be so disgusting.
The difference between Condotta and Dach isn't enough for me not to consider trading his ass if some illuminated GM offers. Hell we could do just as well with a waiver wire. So if the Pens are for some reason looking at Dach,... (I don't really believe Friedman, anyhow)

They can look, he's more valuable to us than what anyone would pay for him. Especially the Penguins unless they wanna give up their unprotected first this year.
Especially since that is pretty much the only asset they have that should be of interest to HuGo.

for what??? tape and a stick right now they way he is playing
The way he is playing means NOTHJNG. The acquirer must decide what his ceiling is and if it is worth the risk.

Dach is 3x the player Condotta is (if he can get over his fear of being injured).

Crosby for Dach, Habs 2026's 1st and Mailloux
Wow...that's a lot.

Crosby is 37 years old. He's not even PPG anymore and he's not getting better.
I wouldn't give up that 2026 1st alone. It's gonna probably be another top 10 pick.

I don't think they would give up Dach either, despite the way he's playing right now.
Crosby would just be a temporary band-aid.

If you go for Crosby, you're gonna pay for the name more than anything.

There is not much that can help us from the Pens in a Dach trade, unless Letang's name comes up again and that the Penguins are willing to retain 50%. He could be use full for the younger players especially like Hutson and we would cash in from moving Savard
