Well since Dubois signed in LA, someone had to replace him as the commodity the Habs have to acquire.Haven't been here in a while and still talking about Petterson LMAO

Yup and our fans are still making shit trade proposals. The difference is Petterson is at least worth discussing.Well since Dubois signed in LA, someone had to replace him as the commodity the Habs have to acquire.
Petterson is head and shoulders better than all of those players, are you kidding? he's a 24yo 100pt defensive beast C with a weapon of a shotHe may not be that much better than any of those players. Dach would be the only one I would consider moving since he could be injury prone.
Forget it. No interest in Petterson unless he decides Montreal is the only team he will play for and the cost is relatively cheap.
Really have to ask?why does this board find a guy like PLD or Petterson and then go nuts for 1000 posts on it
There is no Jack Hughes on that teamI certainly believe that Canadiens can match the players NJ has for example.
Is 95% a high enough probability? He may not be that much better than any of those players. Dach would be the only one I would consider moving since he could be injury prone.

They both go IMO.If Draisatl leaves Edmonton, will McDavid follow?
Drop the puck already.why does this board find a guy like PLD or Petterson and then go nuts for 1000 posts on it
On Montreal? Hughes is not that good. Suzuki or Dach may well be putting up similar totals soon. There is no Jack Hughes on that team

Comm on… Jack Hughes just had a 99 pts season at 21 yrsOn Montreal? Hughes is not that good. Suzuki or Dach may well be putting up similar totals soon.
Because the Habs' model of hockey has sucked for 30 years+ with no serious first line during that time. And... They keep on trying to replicate it. The only difference between Plekanec, Desharnais, Eller and Suzuki, Newhook, Dach, is the time period.why does this board find a guy like PLD or Petterson and then go nuts for 1000 posts on it
What is sad, is they had lots of oportunities to get better at centre all along. Carter or Getzlaf + Bergeron in 2003. Giroux few years later. O'Reilly.... And more recently, grab Aho and Point. Poor scouting at its best !!!!Because the Habs' model of hockey has sucked for 30 years+ with no serious first line during that time. And... They keep on trying to replicate it. Still the same, so.. we're still looking for the same fix.
Suzuki is 2 years older, what is he waiting for ?On Montreal? Hughes is not that good. Suzuki or Dach may well be putting up similar totals soon.
Suzuki didn't want to get too many points too soon so that he could sign a friendly long-term deal with the organization before going crazy.Suzuki is 2 years older, what is he waiting for ?First step for Dach would be to play 82 games a season.
3 players? Suzuki and Dach are better then you think.Because the Habs' model of hockey has sucked for 30 years+ with no serious first line during that time. And... They keep on trying to replicate it. The only difference between Plekanec, Desharnais, Eller and Suzuki, Newhook, Dach, is the time period.

Jack Hughes will very likely have a better career than either of Dach or Suzuki.
Look no further than Habs history….What is sad, is they had lots of oportunities to get better at centre all along. Carter or Getzlaf + Bergeron in 2003. Giroux few years later. O'Reilly.... And more recently, grab Aho and Point. Poor scouting at its best !!!!
Maybe3 players? Suzuki and Dach are better then you think.
They have a future at D that has never been there since 70s
Every team that doesn't win is looking for a fix.
Maybe the new 21century of the big 3.3 players? Suzuki and Dach are better then you think.

I had a dream last night that we got the news that DeSmith was traded. Don't remember to what team and for what return. Only that DeSmith was moved.
cant take that post seriously so had to add the sarcasm emojiOn Montreal? Hughes is not that good. Suzuki or Dach may well be putting up similar totals soon.![]()
