Mentioned earlier about the goalie market. Then posts a picture of the city of Montreal. Now posts a picture of the net in Bell Center.

Could be dipietro for sure. Maybe Primeau signing but doubt that would make weekes send a cryptic post like that as it would only be a minor signing
I’m saying it’s either Barrie or diPietro

Or a Primeau extension.
I doubt that would be significant enough to warrant 2 cryptic posts.

I wonder if Hughes is possibly considering signing Allen to a short term extension maybe? The Habs don't really have much in the way of NHL goalie options right now and it would be a good idea to keep a vet goalie around for the next couple of transition seasons.

Nice call, seems like it is an Allen extension

Have we had a chance to start rumours about signing Nathan McKinnon next year? We'll have the cash.

he’ll resign in colorado.

I think he’s gonna get both the money (12m$ Maybe even more) and the stability of playing with elite players signed long term (Makar, rantanen, Toews ).

He has no incentive to come and play here .

Two years at $2.5ish might make sense for the club. An extension gets risky quickly at longer term or bigger money.

If a deal is in the works, maybe Hughes is targeting a RHD who can QB a PP. That would put Lundkvist on the radar.

Another option is working out something with the Kings who are stacked with RHDs. Marco D’Amico suggested a target:

Others to consider from the Kings’ roster: Sean Durzi, Jordan Spence, Brandt Clarke.

Bottom line, there is complementarity between Habs and Kings:

“The Kings could use their surplus of young defensemen, and they could (at the same time) take advantage of the CH's surplus of forwards, to add the other top-9 forward they've been after for a while.”

Kings would trade Clarke? He's the guy Habs should be all over them.

Wonder if Dvorak to AVS makes some sense. They have some cap space left and a surplus on defense, and Newhook at 2C. Girard isn't a true RD, but has played enough there and was getting PP time I believe. Wonder if there's a deal that makes sense for both there.
