I would like to see us get Johan Larsson from Phoenix as a 4C.
Could role him with Blackwell and Kerfoot on the wings as a fast agitating responsible line that can chip in. He’s also on LTIR for most of the rest of the season like Nash was last year.

I would also be all over a big splash Willie for JT Miller one for one if at all possible. Even with ages you’d get two playoff runs with him and I think he would work a lot better with Tavares.

Miller is still signed for next year, no? I forget his exact contract status.

Regardless, did I miss the Sandin for Miller proposal? Who claimed that?

Bob is saying Leafs are still in the market for lots of things. It depends on the medical reports especially on Kase, plus other guys who were hurt on Saturday.

He had that altercation with D'Angelo... and he seems to believe he shouldn't be a backup, rather a starter and has caused some problems due to it. That's pretty much what I've heard about him, after looking. I wouldn't pay much for him, but if you want to come here, and steal the starters job, feel free. If it doesn't work out, he's a UFA at the end of the year anyway, and might be cheaper than some other options. He will be moved, and likely at a discount.

Yeah I suppose that could still happen. I think reading between the lines and looking at the assets available along with the cap space... I don't know how they aren't done adding to the team.

I think we do this every year where it feels like something else is in the works, the Leafs aren't done *yet* per one insider, etc etc.

It depends on whether or not they want to LTIR Muzzin until the playoffs right? With those two concussions back to back, they have the justification to do just that and have the bodies at the back to cover for him until then.

They could go out and grab a solid goaltender if they think they need it.
 
I would say they are done, but the waiving of Mrazek to the minors and Campbell injured, with just Kallgren to play at the nhl level, and not knowing if we will even get Saleri?
This just doesn't f***ing make sense.
Something else is happening.
I don't think it will be MAF.
There is some competent mid-level goalie coming, has to be.
It would just be negligence otherwise.

How many goaltenders do they need? What happens when Campbell is back?

Are they trying to play pokemon with available goaltenders?
