That looks fair and depends on line up and matches then.Health permitting I would hope to see the middle 6 loon like this-
Blackwell JT Kase
Robby/Knies kerf Willy
Kampf line stays intact but becomes the “4th”

I’m with you on splitting up Nylander and JT to get more offence from the group
maybe leaf fan or 2 but I don't see most wanting to break up our 3rd lineLeafs fans: Thinks our defense is trash and would never be able to match up to top teams in the playoffs.
Also Leafs fans: Wants to break up one of the best shutdown lines in hockey who has matched up against other teams best and barely gives up anything.
??? I said Knies on the hypothetical Nylander line with Engvall out of the lineupSo Engvall - Kampf - Mikheyev gets roasted in the playoffs when it has not been roasted at any point this year.
Yet Knies - Kampf - Mikheyev won't get roasted.
Ok.
Are you telling me you're comfortable with that line going up against a Barkov or Huberdeau line, or a Stamkos or Kucherov line?Based on what?
Agree to disagree (your talking about the 3rd line right)? I think the opposite. I can see that line doing some damage. That line will get roasted in the playoffs
Don't fret, Mrazek and his sparkling .886% and 3.48 GAA will be there to back-stop Toronto! Are you telling me you're comfortable with that line going up against a Barkov or Huberdeau line, or a Stamkos or Kucherov line?
Still waiting on you to tell me where the Leafs edge out Florida btw

At least Campbell has shown he's capable in the past. We just have to hope he can regain his form and get hot at the right time.Deepest team we've had in a very long time. Not just the Matthews era.
But we don't have a competent goalie right now that give us anything more than sub .900 hockey.
I'm fine with not getting another forward if they think Knies can grab a spot in the lineup.
I'm still not comfortable with the goalie situation. It's either Jack or bust and that's incredibly frightening for a guy hurt right now and has played as bad as he has for months. Maybe if they had actually kept Sateri he would've been another option, but now that's gone too. That's the deadline disappointment for me.
Fleury has a lower sv% than Jack this season. All signs pointing to goaltending shitting the bed. Wasted season.
Shoulda gotten fleury for free in the off season, or paid the price for him at TDL
Nashville is giving him a tribute the next time the Leafs play there. Welcome to the Leafs, FC!wait a minute there Mister Man, what about the FuTuRe CoNsIdErAtIoNs
How I'd go next game (assuming Kase plays, and Gio/Blackwell lineup)
Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Kase-Tavares-Nylander
Engvall-Kampf-Mikheyev
Robertson-Kerfoot-Blackwell
If Kase is out, give Blackwell a shot on L2 and put Spezza in his spot.
Defense:
Rielly-Liljegren
Brodie-Holl
Giordano-Lyubushkin
One game in hand. 2 point lead. We play them Mar. 29th, two days after Florida. It may be us in 4th place in the division after that one. We’re ahead of and better than Boston, with games in hand.
On playoff you need your goalie being hot at the right timeNot that I agree with your analysis.....but ....So because maybe another team might have shitty goaltending as well it makes it ok that we do?
