Knies plays on Friday night vs UMASS. Gophers aren't in Frozen Four. Just first round of the tournament. Lost to Michigan for the B1G 10 title.

Hopefully, Knies is available for Leafs after that game. UMASS are defending champs and the game is in Mass.

I am in hospital in the morning, and then go right into a meeting when I get out. That means Dubas will make some big moves, and will make them in the morning when I can't find out as they are happening. He'll get a goalie (someone good who wasn't on anyone's radar to be traded) and Chychrun. Bank on it. Those deals will happen just to piss me off about the timing. I'll find out about them as I get into my car, but will have to log in to my Zoom meeting on my phone and won't be able to listen to the coverage on the radio.

Major trade chips we’ve got left now to offer is our 1st this draft, big name prospects like Knies and Robertson, and for cap purposes Kerfoot. We also have 5 picks in the ‘23 draft and 6 in the ‘24 draft, our first in each year as well.

The Leafs could make another major move if they wanted to thanks to Dubas retaining his 1st in the Giordano trade, but I’d bet on the Leafs standing pat rather than making another major move. You can only blow through so many draft picks and prospects before it eventually catches up and bites you.

sending down mrazek feels like a goalie upgrade is coming… otherwise the leafs ice a tandem of kallgren/campbell going into the playoffs? assuming campbell is healthy soon. perhaps, but i’m not too convinced.
