Namestnikov is the only one that makes a healthy top 12 after the Blackwell add.

Our weakest spot right now is Spezza's 4C job. Namestnikov is a winger, so I don't think he cracks our lineup either.

We will definitely be the underdogs after all the TDL moves but lots of hockey to be played before the playoffs.

Leafs' biggest need is the big4 to show the F up in the playoffs both offensively and defensively. Everything else is just noise

I’d rank Dubas with a B+ on this deadline. Kept all key prospects and 1sts. Upgraded the blue line nicely and depth up front. Didn’t do anything with the goaltending though which is scary. And after seeing what Rakell went for I feel like that was a wasted opportunity

I think the roster looks pretty good. I like the moves we did, we just need to get some goaltending and we should be fine. Having a first round matchup in the Atlantic isn't ideal, but the league insists on using these stupid rankings as opposed to just ranking them via conference.

Dubas did not mention any that we have not heard already. He treaded carefully unlike last year. Up to the big 4 to win us a round or the jury should be in that they are not up to the task.

But we also have no idea what he would have cost, the cap gymnastics behind it, and whether he's ACTUALLY an upgrade. Jack has been elite with us until a few months ago. Our team defense has only improved during the season.

I'm willing to bet on Jack finding his game again, personally. It seems insane to me people are losing their minds over not grabbing a Reimer or Varlamov.
