Wow Miller for Sandin and we said NO? Yikes

Adding Miller in that trade would have been big for the forward group...the outlook might not have been so good for the blueline though for the now and later with the uncertainty surrounding Muzzin and pending UFAs in Giordano and Lyubushkin.

He either gives us the best line in the league or makes the 2nd line elite again, if anyone was worth paying the price for it's Miller at 50%. He fundamentally changes how teams have to deal with our offense.

We have more of a problem keeping the puck out of our net than putting it in the other one. Sandin for a 1.5 yr rental is something I wouldn’t understand. The first line is already arguably the best line in hockey. Line 2 Is fine without Miller if the price was sandin.

I'd be disappointed if Kerfoot and Holl isn't traded tomorrow. Kerfoot doesn't fit on the 2nd line and doesn't fit the role of a 4th liner. If Holl stays, that probably means the management doesn't trust Liljegren.

at least for now that Kase is out, I think Blackwell will be given a chance to be Hyman type for the 2nd and why not? we need some more energy in the top six, but it sucks to have Kerfoot lower in the lineup for 3.5mil.

I have a hard time believing he’s still on our payroll come tomorrow at 3

Ari deals Wedgewood to Dals leaving them only 1 goalie who stymied us that one night but he is an RFA. I can see Ari claiming Mrazek which would be unreal lucky for the Leafs

Doesn't make a lot of sense for NYR to spend 3.8 on a backup when they have the 2nd best goalie in the NHL

Seems more likely that it would be Mrazek + for Georgiev, but I am not giving up anything high end even then.

I don't think Georgiev is any more of a solution than just running with guys we already have here.

Maybe his price drops drastically in the final hour just so they get something instead of him walking for nothing as a UFA.
