Good for Forsberg to receive contract term after all of the moving around via waivers not too long ago. I don't know about 2.75 M x 3 though from a team perspective.

It's hard to say if we should be going after Varly... not knowing if Campbell comes back healthy, not knowing if he can regain some consistency and why are we dismissing Kallgren so quickly? Maybe our goaltending solution is already here... I am dismissing Mrazek, has been a disaster from the start unfortunately.

That being said, I would not be against brining in Varlamov... but does he become part of a group of underperformers along with Campbell and Mrazek? That we do not need. Or does he come in a bring some stability? I think the impact of that is underappreciated.

I would think that would've been done somehow with the Dermott trade, rather than an altogether separate trade with the same team.

Don't think we are dismiss Kallgren or Campbell. Just need to be more certain about goaltending heading to the playoffs specially when we spent picks to acquire other players. Campbell and Varly would be a great tandem for the playoffs.

I think it's good news for us and Campbell. He'll probably get around that number as well. 3M for 3 ish years.
