You keep insisting that. I say if Kuemper is a legit #1, so is Campbell. Their numbers are very similar.

The difference is, there's a good chance some idiot team out there gives Kuemper $8-$9 million if the Avs win this year.

Nope Campbell is not Campbell has never played 50+ games, Campbell has never put up 918+ in a full season he did have 920 in 22 games for the Leafs but that's 22 games.

Campbell has never won a series.

Campbell is to weak mentally just listen to him after he loses a game if you need proof of that.

Campbell and Kuemper are different classes.

Campbell will be PAID like a #1

Kuemper IS a #1

yeah no its not.

They lost cus lke the leafs they couldn't score.

Leafs didn't lost because they can score, they lost because they was unable to keep their lead game 6 contrairly to what tampa did game 7 by giving almost nothing to leafs...

Rumour is, Smith is 3 years x $5 mil. That would give them $200k left, with 2 players to sign.

It really depends on how they want to go, as it's not that hard for them. They could move Broissoit, bring up Thompson as their backup, and then they would have $2.6 mil left to sign two forwards, and have a 20 man roster.

So, it's not going to be hard for them to be compliant.

as a Ducks fan it is so hard to look at this and wish we still had Karlsson and Theodore. Since the Selanne years all we get to do is watch our good young players thrive on other teams.

You guys have some pretty solid pieces right now. Things are looking up for sure.

Although I don't completely disagree with this statement the Leafs did score more goals against Tampa in the playoffs than any other team has the last 3 years. Colorado may pass them though. The Leafs also scored the most goals against MTL last year although Tampa had a higher goals/game.

Leafs didn't lost because they can score, they lost because they was unable to keep their lead game 6 contrairly to what tampa did game 7 by giving almost nothing to leafs...
leafs lost game 6 because of the refs, and then in game 7 had a bs call cancel a tying momentum changing goal ...what they needed to do was take the game out of the refs hands, and they couldnt.

Puljujarvi would be a good target. Big body, can skate and plays with an edge. Could look pretty good playing along side Nylander and Tavares. I’m sure a deal around Kerfoot for Puljujarvi would work.

I think someone posted a summary of the leafs report and Mirtle/Segel said the leafs having been liking the offers for Kerfoot and are happy keeping him.
I don't think they were talking about any actual offers that the Leafs had recieved. I'm pretty sure they were just responding to the fact the many fans assume Kerfoot is going to be traded. But it is their opinion that he won't be moved because they think other team's don't value him all that highly whereas the Leafs do. So it is their opinion that the Leafs wouldn't recieve any offers that make sense to them. It was pure speculation and opinion.

If the Border restrictions are lifted, have to assume Bertuzzi is a target now right? Would be a perfect addition to the top 6.

Unless Dubas has moral obligations in he doesn't like the fact that Bertuzzi is unvaccinated

Why wouldn't Edmonton just keep him? If they are moving him, they don't want Kerfoot's salary either.

There are 2 specific players I really hope Dubas goes after this off season. Tyler Bertuzzi and JT Miller. Both players would bring exactly what our top 6 is missing.

To Toronto-
JT Miller

To Vancouver-
Kerfoot
Sandin
1st Round Pick

To Toronto-
Tyler Bertuzzi
2nd Round Pick

To Detroit-
William Nylander

The only downfall with that is both Miller and Bertuzzi are UFAs after the season and there’s no chance Dubas would be able to re-sign both.

I’d love Bertuzzi in this top six though.

Would be good for a year, terrible after that.

One and done. Rebuild time, no assets left to do it either.

Why posters keep going to NHL 21 to make trades with zero regard to the future?

Excellent pick ups but they would need to come with extensions.

Someone should offer sheet Nicolas Roy.

Heck, I'd throw a $2.1 mil offer sheet at him... compensation would be our 3rd pick. Big body C, that put up 39 points last year... That would really put Vegas in a difficult spot.
That would be nice, I do hope we improve on the 3C position

I like Kampf but I don't think he provides enough offense in that spot. He's a perfect 4C, though

He’s one of my main hopes for the second line, but we can’t offer sheet him because we don’t have our 3rd round pick.

Were pretty vulnerable for offer sheets on Lilj, Sandin. May not be smart to start down that path.
