I'm not sure why the Leafs can't find any suitors for him yet. He's a versatile forward that can score 15-20 goals without getting any significant power play time. He averaged 7 seconds for the season. That's basically at the tail end of a power play.
I mentioned this before, but it's about getting ahead of free agency for making some of these deals. Once you see the first wave of free agents signed and getting into the weeds of vet minimum contracts, his ticket isn't going to look amazing. So set out for a reasonable price and take it. The longer it goes on, the lower the negotiating power goes.
