Yeah it seems pretty risky to go into the playoffs with what they have now.
It doesn't appear to be ideal. Putting a goalie that accounts for a decent amount of cap on waivers this close to the trade deadline also feels like a case of curious timing.

Another possible Mrazek destination?

Vegas.

fighting for playoff lives. Lehner injured.

currently rocking with Brossoit and an emergency call up.
They need as much cap space as possible bring back Stone. They aren't taking Mrazek at 3.8.

I do think some teams would look at him though.

Perfect. Any team would do. Ship him to the moon and I’ll be happy.

I think Arizona is going to claim him as part of a deal.
Probably just wishful thinking
Mrazek + whatever for wedgewood and 50% off Phil.
Dooobie make it so!
Maybe Vejmelka is someone they’d move, Arizona does wildly dumb stuff

We have all of our 1sts and top prospects still, I wonder if you can put something big together with Chicago and upgrade Kerfoot and Holl to Debrincat and Murphy. Would likely hinge on Mrazek going somewhere else as well though.

If he can pull that off ill take back everything i said about him

I think we are getting another goalie
Just not sure who. I cant see him leaving goalie situation with a question mark

They have Stone at 9.5M next year.

They’ll likely look to move Martinez and probably Dadonov in the off-season.

They can for sure make it work

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Kerfoot - Tavares - Nylander
Engvall - Kampf - Mikheyev
Blackwell - Spezza - Kase
ex. Simmonds

Rielly - Lyubushkin
Giordano - Brodie
Muzzin - Liljegren
ex. Sandin - Holl

Campbell
Sateri

This is what we have right now. With an open contract spot with Muzzin out.

The contract issue, with them being near the limit with college FA's available and their own college FA's coming of age is something to watch for tomorrow. If Muzzin is out until the playoffs they can also add short term cap problems to recoup some assets.

I actually don't mind that Seattle deal given Blackwell came along. I really like as a player. He's a solid third/fourth line player for me. Only gave up a 2nd and 3rd pick so far given they got one back with the Dermott trade.

I'm okay with this so far.

Edit: Lol, just saw they only have 3 picks now. Thats a bit of a rough go.
