2 2nds and a 3rd is a lot for Giordano (even with Blackwell coming along), but it is better than the Foligno deal I guess.

Don't forget the cost of retention too.

if it were a competent NHL team then no. but arizona is different. they need to get to the cap floor and UFAs are probably going to be actively avoiding Arizona due to playing in the smaller ASU arena next year.

That gives us enough room for MAF 50% retained. If they trade mrazek the other way they have even more space. I think we're doing it
