F*ck cancer - RIP Fugu and Buffaloed
Maybe this version will see some Leaf action.
Mrazek + Nylander + prospects/picks
For
Fleury + Kane (retention)
Would never happen, but I’d do it
You realize a blue moon happens about once every 2 and a half years?I'm not sure if I'm interested in Severson or not... decent numbers and decent contract, but he's good for a Bryan McCabe esque gaff every once in a blue moon
We had 2 of them in a 3 month span a few years ago. Not at all relevant to the current discussion but just something weird that happened in recent memory. You realize a blue moon happens about once every 2 and a half years?
Man those are good dreams.I wake up hoping to see we've acquired: JT Miller, Chychrun, Braun and Forsberg. Instead, I wake up to Hagel going for 2 firsts, Raddysh and Katchouk. Damn, it's a weird world these days.
That's an insane price.I wake up hoping to see we've acquired: JT Miller, Chychrun, Braun and Forsberg. Instead, I wake up to Hagel going for 2 firsts, Raddysh and Katchouk. Damn, it's a weird world these days.
For any team trying to get to the salary cap floor while saving actual dollars & getting futures in return, that's definitely worthwhile.Patrick Kane makes almost no real money the next 1.5 years. Should be pretty easy to get a team like Ottawa or Buffalo to retain extra and it would be absolutely worth the price if he was available/ wanted to come here.
Chicago retains 50%, Ottawa/Buff retain 50% of the remainder and as long as Mrazek goes out the door somehow and Chicago is interested in a futures package you can add him without moving somebody else.
Might cost you a Robertson/Knies/picks but he would be an insane add for two playoff runs.
That's too bad. Hate to see it. The guy can't stay healthy. Monumental loss if out for long term.Wow - looks like Ekblad may be out a while.
Not good. I don’t think giroux moves the needle much for them. They may now focus on bringing in another good D.Wow - looks like Ekblad may be out a while.
They kind of blew their load on Chiarot though. No 1st until 2024. Tippett is meh. So is Denisenko. Are they willing to move Knight? Samoskevich was their 1st rounder last year and had a decent year at Michigan but I'd be weary about his numbers playing with basically an all-star team. Not good.
