Really? I think Knies is an amazing prospect but I'm not sure the NHL is the place for him yet. Probably would get a cup of coffee then sent down to the Marlies unless he blows us away.

Knies, Abruzesse, Niemela (injured so maybe not?), Holmgren, Hirvonen (probably) and Kokkonen could all be added the Leafs/Marlies over the next few weeks. Should be interesting.

That would be great. Maybe just an addition from within. Knies getting a shot would be interesting to see. He's a big guy so he might be able to hang in the NHL sooner than later.

He would compliment JT so well. Especially down low and his ability to work the boards to his advantage. Very good in tight. He's a possession monster - not saying this will immediately translate to the NHL but its worth a look.

He has the tools that our top 6 needs.

What’s asking price for lindholm?
Now that he’s not signing unless there’s a huge bidding war price might be worth it

Move in from Muzzin, holl, etc
Would make us 1 rhd top 4 form a rockstar defence
Less pressure on our goalie issue

I'd probably throw Copp with Tavares/Nylander.

I'd imagine the price will be way too high though.

Travis Dermott for someone like Mason Appleton would be a good move for added depth on the 4th line.

i dunno - i think he might be generally undervalued and come cheaper than overrated guys like Chiarot, Manson, Lindholm.

I would assume they’ll get a bidding war over him but I’m not really how high it could really end up going. He’s still a bottom 6 guy in the end

And Appleton is an RFA which is nice.

I can see Robertson and Copp forming a really good third line. I’d definitely be interested in Copp.

He has played some hard minutes. His offence isn't very good and has had a bit of a tough season but defensively he does alright against the others team top players.

Imagine that kind of player but with softer minutes? That's why teams see the potential.

Reports are he has been trending down for 2 years now. I’m not going to pretend I watch close enough to have an opinion and he has apparently been babysitting rookies.

But the idea that lindholms stats for the last 2 years have dropped isn’t new
